Scotch whisky distillery Bladnoch, has announced its latest release, The Dragon Series, a collection of five single malt whiskies.

Diageo has launched a 0.0% abv version of its Tanqueray gin brand in a bid to capitalise upon soaring demand for alcohol-free drinks.

First Drinks will be the new UK distributor of CEDC brands Zubrówka Bison Grass Vodka and Green Mark - the world's fourth largest vodka.

G’Vine has announced the winner of its Gin Connoisseur competition. Gegam Ghazaryan of Xandom Bar in Alicante, Spain took the title after a week of challenges including blending gin, aroma exams and speed drink making.  The final took place in G’Vine’s home town of Cognac.

The worldwide competition to appoint four Glenrothes whisky makers closes at the end of January. According to organisers, response to the competition has been very strong but there is still a chance to enter online. The successful candidates will be recruited to work as The Glenrothes whisky makers at the Speyside distillery, Scotland.

Islay: Bruichladdich distillery has started to produce gin. The Islay distillery, usually associated with peaty whisky, began making its first batch of gin today (3 August).
