Skyy targets next generation with ‘sexy’ ads

05 October, 2010

SKyy Spirits, Gruppo Campari’s US-based subsidiary, has unveiled a new global ad campaign entitled Skyy Sexy to market its unflavoured vodka brand Skyy Vodka.

The spirits company has teamed up with fashion and advertising photographer Raymond Meier to create a print campaign aimed at what it terms “ a new generation of vodka drinkers”.

According to Skyy, the campaign - which debuts this October in US consumer and trade magazines - uses “bold, vibrant imagery” which is “provocative”, “sophisticated” and “alluring”.

The campaign will diversify later this year to include online ads, billboards and wall installations, ahead of a roll out to global markets in 2011.

Andrea Conzonato, chief operating officer and chief marketing officer of Skyy Spirits said: “We have partnered with the always-intriguing photographer Raymond Meier to create a bold new take on Skyy’s alluring persona, filling each ad with striking images that open the mind to a million sexy possibilities, but always lead you back to our world-famous blue bottle.”
