Southside Bars was started by Steve Edmonds in 2015 as a specialist private-hire bar company. Amid the onset of the covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, Edmonds used the company’s social media presence to pivot the business online.
Currently, three different packages are offered with the option for customers to either be sent ingredients by Southside Bars or purchase their own, depending on budget.
The ‘Escape Away’ Box is inspired by travel plans that were put on hold during 2020 and includes recipes for a London Gin-Gin Mule, Paris French Martini and a Jalisco Spicy Margarita.
Southside Bars have bartenders based in Ibiza, Barcelona and London and were recently featured in The Independent's “Best online cocktail classes for virtual drinks.”
The classes, which are an hour-long, start at £90 for up to six computer screens.
Non-alcoholic tutorials are also available.
