Funkin launches Bramble mix

24 March, 2017

Funkin is expanding its range of cocktail mixers with the addition of Funkin Bramble this month, bringing the classic English cocktail to the on-trade in an "easy-to-use" format.

The Bramble cocktail was created by Dick Bradsell in the mid-1980s in Fred’s Club, Soho.

Funkin Bramble Cocktail Mixer uses natural ingredients: Sicilian lemons and blackberries.

According to Funkin, gin is a popular choice among consumers with the spirit’s share of cocktail serves growing 12 percent year on year.

Funkin Managing Director Andrew King said: “The ‘ginaissance’ continues in the UK as more and more consumers are interested in gin cocktails. The Bramble is the No. 1 gin cocktail so it’s only natural that Funkin provide its customers with a solution to make a consistently great-tasting drink. The 100 percent natural mixer allows operators of any bar to create this classic cocktail and put their own twist on it.”

Funkin Bramble Cocktail Mixer is available in one-litre cartons within cases of six. Each carton has an ambient shelf life of up to 12 months unopened and 10 days in the refrigerator once opened.
