Disaronno wears Trussardi

The Italian liqueur is back with its annual Disaronno Icon project, which this year sees the iconic bottle dressed in a limited-edition design by Italian fashion house Trussardi.

The CEO of Disaronno parent company Illva Saronno, Augusto Reina, has said they plan to reach 1m cases of Indian whiskey in the near future.

A new €25 million distillery with a capacity of 2.5m litres of pure alcohol (LPA’s) or 8m bottles/650,000 cases, has been officially opened in County Carlow, Ireland.

Despite facing a litany of challenges, the travel retail business is upbeat, as the TFWA World Exhibition proved. Joe Bates reports

First Drinks has appointed Rod Eslamieh as its first ever full time brand ambassador for its Illva-owned brands – Disaronno, Tia Maria and Isolabella.

Disaronno is on the lookout for bartenders for the return of its international bartender competition, Disaronno Mixing Star.

Amaretto brand Disaronno has hosted the final of its first Mixing Star cocktail competition in London.

Monarq Group is to distribute Tia Maria and Disaronno in the Caribbean domestic and duty free markets.
