Izquierdo had been working within the Errázuriz wine group as chief corporate financial and operations officer since September 2012.
Izquierdo has 14 years’ experience in the wine industry, working in several wineries, both in Chile and abroad.
Errázuriz president, Eduardo Chadwick said: “The experience, together with the human quality, professionalism and commitment Andrés has demonstrated, made him the right person to lead Viña Errázuriz and our development plans to conquer the fine wines’ market worldwide.”
