Poliakov goes red

22 August, 2011

French vodka brand Poliakov has extended its line in the European on-trade to include a ‘red fruit’ liqueur.

Brand owner La Martiniquaise has described Poliakov Red as a vodka with cranberry and raspberry aromas.

The varient - which carries an abv of 20%, comes in 70cl bottles and is priced at €9.95 - can be drunk neat or on the rocks with a variety of mixers “including energy drinks".

The target audience is men and women aged 20-30 years old and, according to the brand, the move has been driven by the success of ‘red vodkas’ in Europe.
