Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) and Carlsberg Group have extended their agreement for the distribution of Carlsberg brands in Australia.

The Fosters Group-owned brewing company will sell and market Carlsberg and Carlsberg Elephant brands on a long-term exclusive licence, continuing from an initial agreement struck in 2007.

CUB managing director John Pollaers, said: “This is an early extension of our current contract and recognises the strong performance for the Carlsberg brand which has enjoyed year on year volume growth of 28%.

"We are very pleased with Carlsberg's performance and look forward to continued growth for the brand.”
