Spirits experts Gaz Regan, Dave Broom and Philip Duff have recreated what they believe to be one of the earliest gin recipes on record.

Distiller Simon Fairclough has set up the Scottish Gin Club, dedicated to nosing and tasting gins made north of the English-Scottish border.

Diageo has recreated Tanqueray Old Tom Gin for the global on-trade and speciality retailers.

Diageo has added an elderflower variant to its Gordon’s line, following last year’s launch of Gordon’s Crisp Cucumber.

The results are in for the World's 50 Best Bars Brands Report. 

The largest selling gin in the world in 2012 was Philippine gin brand Ginebra San Miguel, with sales of 23.8 million 9-litre cases, according to The Millionaires' Club 2013.

Martin Miller dies aged 67

Martin Miller, founder of Martin Miller’s gin, passed away on Christmas Eve after a battle with cancer.

Chase Distillery has launched William Chase Sloe and Mulberry Gin in the UK.

It’s ‘up periscope’ for Irish distilleries

I know how wierd this might seem but I often think that the opening of a new distillery is like the launch of a new submarine. It is unveiled in all its pristine glory in a blaze of publicity and fanfare.
