Bombay Sapphire wins double gold in San Francisco

Bombay Sapphire  has been awarded a double gold medal at the 17th San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

There were 2,100 entries for the 17th anniversary of the competition which was judged by 43 industry experts.

The double gold medal designation is awarded to the entries that receive gold medal ratings by all members of the judging panel.

Raj Nagra, Bombay Sapphire global brand ambassador, said: “Bombay Sapphire really is leading the resurgence of gin, and we are delighted that the ceaseless passion and endeavour that goes into creating our exquisite liquid, has been recognised in such a prestigious competition.”  

Bombay Sapphire claims to be the world's number one premium gin by value and is based on a 1761 recipe, distilled in southern England.
