London: Fluid Movement bar closes

20 March, 2013

Fluid Movement has closed its north London bar Dach & Sons.

The company, which operates acclaimed bars Purl and Worship Street Whistling Shop closed the bar because it “failed to reach the volume of trade” it was hoping for. It was open for nine months.

A statement on the bar’s website reads: “So… it is with great regret that we announce the immediate closure of Dach & Sons in Hampstead.

“The last 9 months have been a huge learning experience for us, and whilst both Dach & Sons and Flat P were amazingly well received initially, we have failed to reach the volume of trade that we had hoped for.

“We would like to thank every one of you who has stopped by since our opening. And thanks also to our awesome staff who - for a brief time - placed Hampstead firmly on the London cocktail circuit.”
