The Dalmore distillery has launched a new expression, The Dalmore Valour, for sale exclusively in travel retail.

The Dalmore was the fastest-growing single malt whisky brand by value among the 10 largest malt brands in duty free and travel retail in 2011, according to figures released by the International Wine & Spirit Research (IWSR).

The world’s first Dalmore Constellation Collection has been sold through The Whisky Shop in the UK to a US based investor.

Whyte & Mackay has released a collection of The Dalmore single malt vintage whiskies to duty free.

Elitemarket.com has created a virtual cellar for online shoppers to view, research and buy single malt scotch whiskies.

It’s ‘up periscope’ for Irish distilleries

I know how wierd this might seem but I often think that the opening of a new distillery is like the launch of a new submarine. It is unveiled in all its pristine glory in a blaze of publicity and fanfare.
