Diageo has opened a US$5m Captain Morgan visitors’ centre as part of of its new distillery in the US Virgin Islands.

StarBev has announced ‘significant investments’ in its Staropramen brand, as it eyes international expansion.

The Isle of Jura Distillery has opened a £100,000 visitor centre.

It’s ‘up periscope’ for Irish distilleries

I know how wierd this might seem but I often think that the opening of a new distillery is like the launch of a new submarine. It is unveiled in all its pristine glory in a blaze of publicity and fanfare.
