Beluga vodka unveils programme for BCB 2019

For the fifth year running Beluga Vodka will be returning to Bar Convent Berlin from 7-9 October to present a program of seminars and bar takeovers.

The Beluga Booth, located in Hall 7, Stand C21 at Station Berlin & Kühlhaus Berlin will act as the hub for the brand throughout the convention.

The seminar program is as follows: 

Seminar: Super Taste 101 – Test your palate with vodka and caviar with Philip Duff

Renowned bar owner and spirits educator Phillip Duff will lead a tasting of Beluga Vodka where participants will have a flight of the spirit and environmentally sustainable sturgeon caviar.

7 October, 13:15 - 14:00, Demo Stage A 

Mini-seminars with Philip Duff and Lucia Montanelli of The Dorchester, London

Through a series of blindfolded mini seminars at the Beluga Booth by Phillip Duff and Beluga Signature 2019 Global Champion, Lucia Montaneilli, guests will be given the opportunity to taste Beluga vodka with the effect of the five different flavour profiles of sweet, sour, salt, bitter and umami.

Bar takeovers at the Beluga Booth

Each day the Beluga Booth will have bartenders from some of London’s best bars preparing Beluga vodka cocktails created for BCB. The six bartenders are all previous Beluga Signature UK participants. 

The Bartenders on each day will be:

Monday 7 October 

Agostino Schiavo from the Arts Club, London and Luca Ardito, formerly of the Donovan Bar, London.

Tuesday 8 October

Andrea Liberati from the Goring, London and Michael Duda from the Bassoon bar at the Corinthia, London.

Wednesday 9 October 

Victor Maggiolo from the Beaufort bar at The Savoy, London and Enrico Gonzato from the Mezzanine bar at the Stratford, London.

After Party 

Beluga vodka is also hosting an aftershow party with all the six London bartenders at Tamper meets Jigger, a recent opening by Raymund Peters, former bartender of the Ritz Carlton Berlin.
