Suntory launches Chita Single Grain Whisky

30 June, 2017

The House of Suntory has launched Chita Single Grain Whisky into the UK market – the first single grain whisky from Suntory Japanese Whisky.

The whisky will be available in both on and off-trade markets from July 1 and chief blender, Shinji Fukuyo has created the whisky using Spanish Oak casks alongside American White Oak casks.

Mr Fukuyo, who was a judge for this year's International Spirits Challenge, said: “There is a quiet confidence and tenderness in our grain whiskies. These qualities allow them to be their own heroes, whether in blend, or featured as a single grain whisky”

The whisky will be available in UK markets at £52.50 per 70cl
