Situated in Monze, the company purchased the cooperative last year and has been bringing it up to date ever since to host an ageing cellar, analysis laboratory, shop and tasting room, costing in total €6.5 million.
Laurent Delaunay, president of Badet Clement, said: “We followed our deep rooted belief that the Languedoc-Rousillon was a region of great wine making potential, and we’re extremely proud of everything we’ve achieved here so far, and there are lots more we are planning to do over the next 20 years.”
The company will hold festivities on the weekend of 3-4 June to celebrate its 20th anniversary, such as a tour of the new winery and vineyards as well as a cocktail party with a jazz band.
