Advocatuur appoints Maroš Dzurus as director of bars

31 March, 2026

Advocatuur at Rosewood Amsterdam has appointed Maroš Dzurus as director of bars and beverage as of April 2026.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the drinks and hospitality industry, Dzurus joins Advocatuur from Himkok Oslo, where he served as head bartender before becoming bar manager.

"I am very much looking forward to making the move to Amsterdam to lead the team at Advocatuur," said Dzurus.

"Over the past year, the team has cultivated a bespoke and inspiring drinks experience committed to heritage, culture and outstanding hospitality.

"I hope to build on this foundation by working closely with the team, building relationships within the local community, and supporting the continued development of the bar experience. I am excited to help define the next chapter of Advocatuur’s presence within the global bar scene."

Dzurus succeeds Yann Bouvignies, who will be moving into his new role within Rosewood.

As director of bars and beverage, Maroš will lead the Advocatuur team in expanding the bar’s creative direction and guiding the development of future mixology programmes.

His focus will include local and seasonal ingredients, strengthening bar team development, and enhancing guest experience.
