The Savoy’s American Bar has announced a brand-new cocktail menu created by head bartender, Chelsie Bailey and her team. 

Drinks International sat down with the acting bar manager of the American Bar at The Savoy, Andrea Di Chiara, to talk about the closure, reopening and a new dawn at the UK’s oldest surviving cocktail bar.

The American Bar at The Savoy in London will reopen for business on October 4.

The Savoy has appointed Shannon Tebay as head bartender of the American Bar and senior mixologist at the hotel.

Declan McGurk is to leave The Savoy in London, after seven years at the helm of the hotel's famed American Bar, Drinks International can exclusively reveal.

It was a swish affair at the Artesian bar in London’s Langham hotel last night. Drinks International and The World’s 50 Best Bars contributor Tom Sandham, was launching his World’s Best Cocktails book.

Japanese whisky brand, Nikka, has named the second finalist of its international cocktail competition, The Nikka Perfect Serve.

Glenmorangie has launched a new whisky in its Private Edition range. The Glenmorangie Finealta, pronounced ‘Finalta’, is Scottish Gaelic for ‘elegant’. It is a recreation of Glenmorangie based on a recipe dating back to 1903.
