The UK government has outlined plans to extend licensing hours in pubs, clubs and bars across England and Wales to mark the royal coronation.

A House of Lords Committee, set up especially to look at the Licensing Act 2003, and the liberalisation of opening hours in the UK, has launched its investigation.

The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) met with the UK Home Office to air concerns over government proposals to change the Licensing Act.
