US-based distributor, Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), has announced the appointment of Marc Sachs to permanent president and chief executive officer.

Former Diageo president of North America, Deirdre Mahlan, has been appointed as interim chief financial officer for the company.

Diageo managed to grow organic sales by 1% in the six months to December 31 despite suffering from restrictions on the on-trade and travel retail.
