Beefeater has announced that Desmond Payne MBE will be the brand’s first-ever master distiller emeritus in January 2023.

London dry gin producer Beefeater has announced the launch of Crown Jewel, the ultra-premium pinnacle of the brand’s gin portfolio that first appeared as a limited-edition release nearly two decades ago.

Speyside distillery, The Balvenie, has announced the launch of its oldest and rarest whisky ever, The Balvenie Sixty, a single cask bottling from 1962.

The Balvenie has released the seventh limited-edition bottling of its renowned and highly collectible Tun 1509 series.

The Balvenie’s malt master, David Stewart, has been awarded an MBE for services to the Scotch whisky industry at a ceremony in The Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh, Scotland.
