Walsh Whiskey has announced the release of new additions to The Irishman’s range of Irish single malt whiskey, featuring a new bottle design.

Walsh Whiskey has appointed six new distributors in Eastern Europe in a bid to capitalise upon strong growth in the region.

Following the news yesterday that Brown-Forman has broken ground in its US$50m Irish whiskey distillery in Slane, Walsh Whiskey announces that it has taken delivery of three copper pot and column stills, bringing it a step closer to January’s formal commissioning of its new €25m distillery.

The Australian Advertising Standards Bureau’s ruling that brands’ Facebook pages should be treated as advertising has been branded as “strange” by Diageo’s CEO.

Diageo is looking to “get stronger” as a business by targeting women, the over 50s, emerging middle classes, and multicultural groups.

Diageo has struck an agreement to acquire Turkey's "leading" spirits company, Mey Içki.
