New managing director for Champagne Jacquart

    Champagne Jacquart has appointed a new managing director. Laurent Reinteau is to join the Alliance Champagne group as managing director of Jacquart and Associés Distribution SAS.

    Based in Reims, Jacquart & Associés Distribution has exclusive distribution of Champagne Jacquart in France and throughout the world – as well as associated brands made under licence.

    Reinteau, 39, was formerly European director for Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin. He holds an MBA from the Reims Management School and is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure Agricole (ESA), Angers.

    He is expected to take up his position in July 2009.
