The brewer has sponsored UEFA Champions League for the past 25 years and the new UEFA EURO 2020 agreement means that Heineken will have exclusive pouring rights at stadiums, fan zones and fan villages throughout the tournament.
Hans Erik Tuijt, global sponsorship director at Heineken, said: “Heineken has enjoyed an unrivalled relationship with football fans through our UEFA Champions League sponsorship.
“UEFA EURO 2020 will enable Heineken to create even more engaging experiences for football fans across Europe and around the world.”
EURO 2020 takes place from June 12 to July 12, 2020 and for the first time the tournament will be hosted across 12 European cities.
Heineken’s renewed three-year agreement as a UEFA club competitions partner will also include sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup from 2021-24 while Amstel was also announced as partner of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
