Old Mout releases non-alcoholic cider

10 April, 2018

New Zealand cider brand, Old Mout has released its first alcohol-free cider for the first time, in response to the growing demand for low alcohol beverages.

Launching in a Berries & Cherries variant, the Heineken-owned cider is now available across all on-trade channels throughout the UK in 500ml bottles.

Old Mout already has four ciders in its core range and the new non-alcoholic expression will be unveiled at a Heineken Category Strategy event in London on 10 April.

Emma Sherwood-Smith, cider director at Heineken said: “Old Mout is a real success story.  Drinkers love it and its unique proposition means it’s got huge stand out.  Our quirky kiwi will now be adorning an alcohol free version which means for the 50% of us who are looking to moderate our alcohol intake, there is a much-loved, expertly crafted alcohol free cider to enjoy.”
