Ginebra San Miguel is world's top gin

Ginebra San Miguel is the top gin brand in the world despite 11% negative growth, according to Drinks International’s Millionaires Club 2014. 

San Miguel’s brand sold 21.1 million nine-litre cases in 2013, almost seven times the amount of second place Gordon’s, at 3.7m. Bacardi’s Bombay finished in third with 2.8 million cases.
 
Pernod Ricard’s Seagram’s and Beefeater take fourth and fifth with 2.8m, 2.6m cases respectively.
 
Sixth place Tanqueray is the second million-case gin to report double-digit growth in 2013- Diageo’s 2.2m gin with 10%, to Seagram’s 12%.
 
A million cases separate sixth and seventh, as Carew’s Dry completes the gin category, with 0% growth at 1.2m.
