Licor 43 appoints UK brand manager

Licor 43, which claims to be the world’s fastest growing premium liqueur, has announced the appointment of a dedicated UK brand manager.

Julia Bliss joins UK distributor Cellar Trends having previously worked at First Drinks as a customer marketing executive. Bliss will be responsible for developing the brand strategy, managing Licor 43’s PR investment and helping to further establish the product among UK consumers through its dedicated on trade promotions.

Brand owner Diego Zamora International says Bliss’s appointment is part of an investment in developing the liqueur’s UK and global growth.

The appointment follows that of Matthew Turner who has recently joined as global brand director for Licor 43. Having previously worked for The Macallan single malt Scotch whisky. Turner will drive the brand’s International marketing and innovation strategies.
