Jim Beam launches Hardcore Cider

08 October, 2013

Beam’s newest Jim Beam is Red Stag by Jim Beam Hardcore Cider.

Following Red Stag Black Cherry – Red Stag Hardcore Cider is described as a “different breed of bourbon”.

Beam Inc’s general manager, whiskies, Chris Bauder, said: “Since its history making introduction in 2009, Red Stag has helped fuel rapid growth of flavour innovation in the category.

“We’re excited to extend our flavour leadership with the Red Stag line, which has seen double-digit growth every year. We are confident Red Stag Hardcore Cider is the perfect, versatile flavor addition for the fall season.”

Red Stag Hardcore Cider is an 80-proof (40% abv) Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey infused with natural flavors, says Beam.

The new expression features “crisp fruit and subtle flavors of apple cider”.
