The new Berneroy’s packaging is a blend of “tradition and modernity”, incorporating an apple theme and the classic bottle style of calvados.
Richard Bush, brand manager for Berneroy, said: “The apple is by far the world’s most popular fruit, but apple-based beverages have yet to really take to the international stage.
"With the arrival of Calvados Berneroy’s fresh new look, we feel the time is ripe to bring this wonderful premium product to travelers everywhere.”
Calvados Berneroy is available in a three qualities: Fine (oak-aged for a minimum of two years), VSOP (oak-aged for a minimum of four years) and XO (oak-aged for a minimum of six years).
According to Camus, sales of its calvados brand in 2011 were up nearly 50% over 2010 levels.
