JF Hillebrand acquires Lagena Distribution

Logistics company JF Hillebrand has acquired Lagena Distribution, the Stockholm-based distributors.

Formed in 1994, Lagena was a subsidiary of Systembolaget AB, the state-owned alcohol retail monopoly.

JF Hillebrand deals in the logistics of wine, spirits and beer, employing 1,650 people worldwide.

Soren Nyman, JF Hillebrand’s area manager for northern Europe, said: “The combination of Lagena Distribution’s local logistics expertise, alongside JF Hillebrand’s global forwarding network, means we are now perfectly positioned to served the needs of our customers.”
