David Gosnell, the executive chairman of Bushmills Irish Whiskey, has been awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire), in the Queen’s Birthday 2018 Honours List. 

Gruppo Montenegro, the owner of Amaro Montenegro and Vecchia Romagna brandy, has finalised exclusive distribution agreements in the Italian market for Jose Cuervo, the world’s number-one tequila, Bushmills, Irish whiskey, The Kraken Black Spiced rum and Boodles British gin.

Irish minister for agriculture, food and marine Simon Coveney will launch the Irish Whiskey Association’s ‘Vision for Irish Whiskey’ at an event this evening (May 12) in the Old Jameson Distillery, in Dublin.

Bushmills master blender Helen Mulholland has created two single malt whiskies for Bushmills Live headliners- The 1975 and Gary Lightbody’s group Tired Pony.

Saw Snow Patrol last night at the Bushmills distillery on the far north coast of Northern Ireland. There was a delightfully intimate atmosphere in the 'Cooperage' (no coopers present thankfully) with plenty of loyal fans mouthing the lyrics as the band went thru its paces.

Bushmills has announced that it will launch a global competition on St Patrick’s day, called Make it 2 Bushmills.

Bushmills master distiller Colum Egan has announced the names of the nine contenders who will represent their countries in the international finals of its competition.

It’s ‘up periscope’ for Irish distilleries

I know how wierd this might seem but I often think that the opening of a new distillery is like the launch of a new submarine. It is unveiled in all its pristine glory in a blaze of publicity and fanfare.
