Sweden: Malibu- Kahlúa International (MKI) brands will be consolidated within the Absolut Company.

Sweden: Malibu- Kahlúa International (MKI) brands will be consolidated within the Absolut Company.

MKI is a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard and comprises coconut rum Malibu and liquers Kahlúa and Tia Maria. 

Pernod Ricard has decided to leverage the resources of The Absolut Company (TAC), the Swedish subsidiary in charge of the Absolut vodka portfolio.

The brands will be managed out of Stockholm, Sweden effective with the new fiscal year 2009/10, 1 July 2009. 

MKI was created in 2006, following Pernod’s acquisition of Allied Domecq in 2005.
