Over the past two years, the brand class to have been the biggest contributor of revenue and volume growth to the wine category, adding more than £57m.
Barefoot has the UK number one Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Pink Moscato, growing by 15%, 23% and 12% respectively, and the combined value increased by more than £14.4m in 2018.
Despite launching two years ago, Barefoot Malbec claims to have become the number one contributor of growth to this varietal increasing in value and growing at 60% in 2018, three times faster than the total Malbec category.
