Rathfinny Wine Estate expands to Hong Kong

05 July, 2018

Rathfinny Wine Estate, located in Southern England has appointed Jebsen Fine Wines as its distributor in Hong Kong, where it is set to launch its sparkling wines in September 2018.

One of the newest single estate vineyards in England, Rathfinny was founded in 2010 by Mark and Sarah Driver and its first sparkling wines were launched in London on the 24 April this year.

Rathfinny has announced its strategy to focus entirely on the premium on-trade while selling up to 50% of its production to overseas markets within Asia, Europe and North America.

Sarah Driver said: “Aside from Hong Kong’s potential as a growth area for sparkling wine, it’s a country we feel very connected to.

“Having been brought up there myself, we have a strong network of friends and family based in Hong Kong, and we believe that with a bit of hard work, we can create a loyal following for Rathfinny over there.”

A leading independent wine distributor in Greater China, Jebsen Fine Wines operates via six offices located in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai and Beijing. Part of Jebsen Group's Beverage Business Unit, it was established in Hong Kong in 1991.
