The launch follows significant investment into Camden Town Brewery by the 'high end division' of global brewing company, AB InBev.
The investment has also enabled Camden to build a new purpose-built brewery in Enfield, north-east London - the largest investment to the brewing industry in London for 30 years, it says.
According to a recent report, the number of new breweries across the UK now stands at 1,700, an increase of 65% over the past five years.
Jasper Cuppaidge, founder and CEO of Camden Town Brewery, said: “We’ve always been inspired by New York – it’s a buzzing city filled with incredible places to eat and drink, so it felt like the right place to launch Camden into the US.
“We have big plans for further launches across the US and beyond. Camden Hells is a killer British lager, which we think drinkers across the world will love.”
