Travel Retail awards winners announced

Drinks International has announced the winners of the Travel Retail Awards. 

More than 100 people gathered at the Beach Restaurant during the TFWA Cannes event and the Supreme Travel Retail Champion went to Bacardi for its The Glen Deveron Royal Burgh Collection.

Best Drinks Launch at TFWA Cannes 2013 went to William Grant & Sons for the Glenfiddich Cask Collection.

Best Drinks Launch of the Year was Bacardi’s The Glen Deveron Royal Burgh Collection and Best Luxury Drinks Brand of the Year went to The Edrington Group for its Famous Grouse 40 year old.

Ian Mcleod Distillers took the Best Packaging/Repackaging of a Drinks Brand trophy for its Glengoyne Highland Single Malt range.

Best Presentation Box/Gift Box went to Bacardi for its Bombay Sapphire Electro, designed by Web de Vlam. 

Most Creative Marketing Concept/Travel Retail in Store Promotion was picked up by Maxxium Travel Retail for its Jim Beam Honey. The campaign was called It's Worth Every Sting

Ajay Bhatia from Dubai Duty Free was named Travel Retail Drinks Buyer of the Year and Travel Retail Outlet of the Year went to DFS Group for its new stores at Hong Kong airport.

The awards were presented by Drinks International editor Christian Davis and publisher Justin Smith. They were sponsored by Botran, H Mounier and APU.
