Portugal: Andresen releases 100yo port

05 March, 2010

Portugal: Boutique port producer Andresen has released a 100 year old port.

The Andresen 1910 Colheita port bottle was designed by Wren & Rowe.

The grapes were picked in 1910, and the wine has remained in barrel for the last 100 years.

There will be just 120 bottles for sale at a price of €1,500 each.

40% of the wine was sold before ahead of the release.  The product launched in Portugal this week and was greeted by national TV and press coverage.

The special wooden gift box designed for the release will be unveiled later in the year.
