UK: Leading mixologists launch new gin

07 August, 2009

Two well-known mixologists have launched their own gin.

Salvatore Calabrese’s son Gerry from London’s Hoxton Pony and Andy Pearson, who makes appearances on BBC2’s Something for the Weekend, are to launch CP gin this October.

CP is distilled with coconut and grapefruit and according to the press statement, ‘juniper is not the dominant flavour’. Other botanicals include tarragon and ginger.

The gin will sell for £24.99 - £27.99 and Emporia Brands have been appointed as the UK and international export agent.
