Pernod Ricard has revealed a 15% organic decline in sales for the three months to March 31.

Beam, the US-based global premium spirits company, has announced that Arthur Aroney will join the organisation as managing director of Emerging Markets for its Asia Pacific/South America (APSA) region.

Jägermeister parent company Mast-Jägermeister has appointed Denis Schrey to its management team.

UK: Grupo Codorníu has made four appointments. Carolyn d’Aguilar and Susannah Bearne move internally to roles in the marketing department while Jake Crimmin and Tom Barton join the UK sales team.

Absolut reports 6% growth

Absolut Vodka, part of the Pernod Ricard group, has revealed that its annual sales value and volume grew by 6% during the period July 1 2010 to June 30 2011. 

Costellation Wines Australia and Europe has officially become Accolade Wines - as of June 27. Accolade brands include Hardy’s and Echo Falls.

Morrison Bowmore Distillers has made five new appointments within its sales and marketing team.

Patrón Spirits has appointed Phil Gervasi, a former VP at Diageo, as executive vice president of sales for North America.

Ian Macleod Distillers has appointed Danielle Murphy as business development manager at its Scotland-based sales team.

Cork producer Amorim recorded double-digit volume growth in 2010.

Nemiroff has reported strong growth in 2010. The Ukrainian vodka brand said sales volumes rose to $473.6 million – $56.8 million (13.6%) up on the previous year. The company said the largest growth areas were Ukraine and Poland.

Pernod Ricard has reported a sales increase of 13% to €4.28 billion in its half year results.

Diageo has reported an 4% increase in organic net sales growth for H2 of 2010, despite a drop of 3% in Europe.
