Bacardi elects new board directors

Bacardi has announced two new board directors to replace two whom are retiring.

Bacardi, the largest privately held spirits company in the world, has two new board directors.

Jay McDowell and Guy Peyrelongue are retiring and are being replaced by Michael J Dolan and John S Galantic.

62-year-old Dolan retired as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Viacom in December 2006. He currently serves on the board of directors of Mattel, the world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of toys and family products, and on the board of America’s Choice, a not for profit that provides solutions for educational organisations.

Galantic, 47, is president, US and chief operating officer of Chanel, global leader in luxury goods. He was previously president of Coty Beauty US.
