Purity Brewing earns organic status

03 July, 2019

Purity Brewing Company has passed the Soil Association organic certification process allowing it to brew organic beers.

The Soil Association is the UK’s leading membership charity campaigning for responsible farming and land use and created the world’s first organic standards in the 1960s.

Purity CEO Paul Halsey said: “We see this as the perfect next step in our innovation pipeline, during what is a very exciting time here at the brewery and it sits perfectly within our already existing gluten free and vegan friendly offering.”

The first beer within the Purity range to be made entirely from organic ingredients is its traditional Bavarian style pale lager, Pure Helles.
