SITT announces Bristol and London autumn shows

29 June, 2017

The Specialist Importers Trade Tasting, a series of one-day events for independent wine buyers in all trade markets, will take place on September 18 in Bristol and on September 20 in London.

SITT is run by Agile Media, parent multimedia company to Drinks International, and will take place over two days in two cities to provide an opportunity for businesses to discover specialised wines.

The event has been running since 2005 and is organised by an experienced team whose members have been working in this sector for many years, and are experts in organisation, logistics and communication.

SITT gives visitors an unrivalled opportunity for anyone buying wines from a UK source and looking for distinctive products to sell in the on and off-trade markets.

Prior to SITT commencing, Agile Media will produce a specialist ‘city guide’ to help exhibitors prepare for the regional event and the first city guide will be focused on Bristol and the south west.

Specialist Breakfast Briefings are also planned to inform exhibitors about trends, the latest business news and topical issues with master classes and practical workshops taking place throughout the day.

Each SITT will also have a ‘speciality to watch’ theme highlighting a region, country or a group of producers – and highlighting those exhibitors who are involved with the topic.

Agile Media will circulate a SITT supplement with Harpers and DRN to highlight the features and exhibitors at the show and help visitors navigate and plan their visit to SITT.

In order to exhibit, candidates must be able to prove they are a specialist within a portfolio of wines and an expert in a maximum of two areas.
