Unveiled at London’s Connaught bar, the products create ice tear-drops designed to complement Chivas Regal 18.
The Ice Drop Mould pack, which includes glasses and tongs, will be available to purchase for US$399.
The limited edition Ice Press will be “gifted to a selection of the world’s most prestigious bars”.
Max Warner, global brand ambassador for Chivas Regal, told DI he used Drinks International’s World’s 50 Best Bars 2014 list to choose the London bars that would receive the ice press. (The five top ranked bars in London were Artesian, Nightjar, American Bar, Connaught Bar and Happiness Forgets).
Richard Black, global brand director for Chivas Regal, said: "We have created a contemporary limited edition that is as practical as it is enjoyable and that will deliver unique experiences to the world’s top on-trade venues and Chivas’ fans through the perfect ice shape."
Head of mixology at Connaught Bar, Ago Peronne, created three cocktails for the launch event.
Nocciola was a blend of Chivas 18, Italian citrus sherbet, homemade hazelnut syrup, oolong, milk tea and a ice drop flavoured with orange flower.
Mandorla is a mix of Chivas 18, Amalfi lemon juice, homemade marzipan syrup, Oloroso sherry, egg white, ginseng and bergamot essence. It was served with home-made lolly pops (spiced honey, chocolate, orange).
Caffe is made from Chivas 18, sweet vermouth, coffee liquor, crème de mure and bitters.
