The 100% agave Blanco tequila, which already exists in the US and Mexico, will debut in the on-trade and Selfridges before rolling out to further off-trade outlets at the end of the year.
Nobu, Rita’s, The Shop, Catch, The Dorchester, Basement @ London Edition, Playboy Club and Werewolf are among the bars that will list Jose Cuervo Tradicional Silver.
Agaves used in the unaged tequila are from the Tequila Valley, while the spirit is distilled in the La Rojena distillery in Tequila Town.
