Diego Zamora appoints Turner to Licor 43

The Diego Zamora group has appointed Matthew Turner as its global brand director for Licor 43.

The family-owned Spanish company has announced that Turner will be in charge of Licor 43 international marketing and innovation and report directly to Zamora International managing director Thomas Clamens.

Clamens said: “Matthew brings many years’ experience in the international drinks industry most recently as global brand controller for Edrington’s The Macallan single malt Scotch whisky brand.”

Turner said: “This is a very exciting opportunity, Licor 43 is a wonderful brand with a clear vision of doubling volume in the next few years, I am joining the brand at a pivotal moment in its history and I look forward to proving a valuable asset in guiding Licor 43 along its journey and through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.’’
