Molson Coors appoints global corporate controller

18 February, 2014

Molson Coors Brewing Company has promoted Brian Tabolt to the role of global corporate controller.

Tabolt is to lead the global corporate accounting function and he is to be a member of the company’s global finance leadership team. He will report to global chief financial officer, Gavin Hattersley.

Most recently, Tabolt served as the company’s senior director of technical accounting and SEC reporting. He has been with Molson Coors since 2010 and worked on the company’s 2012 StarBev acquisition.

Hattersley said: "We are fortunate to have a deep bench of talent within our finance organisation that allows us to promote Brian into this critical role. Brian brings an extensive technical accounting background and passion for driving performance improvements, making him an ideal fit for this leadership role.”

Prior to joining Molson Coors, Tabolt held a variety of positions with Deloitte in its Denver and Pittsburgh offices.
