UK: Nyetimber gets new livery

27 April, 2012

English sparkling wine Nyetimber has revamped its packaging in time for the UK’s summer of celebrations.

The new bottle, designed by branding agency Made Thought, features a “specially developed thick foil, deep embossing, a naturally textured paper label and many small additional touches”.

Eric Heerema, CEO of Nyetimber, said: “We have a clear vision: to make the finest English sparkling wine, one to rival the very best in the world, including Champagne. We have drawn on the best of contemporary English style to create packaging that hopefully reflects that. We have consciously set ourselves standards that go well beyond what is already in market.”

Alongside the packaging, there will be a gift box, ice buckets and other accessories. A marketing campaign will support the packaging launch.
