World of Patria takes Chase into GTR

28 February, 2012

Travel Retail operator World of Patria International has reached agreement with Chase Distillery to offer its range of spirits and liqueurs.

The English vodka and gin distillery’s range will be shown for the first time outside of UK travel retail when it launches under World of Patria's stable at IAADFS in Orlando, US.

The line includes Chase English Potato Vodka, Chase Marmalade Vodka, William’s Chase Gin – made from apples – and vodka-based fruit liqueurs including Raspberry, Blackcurrant, White Peach, Rhubarb and Elderflower.

Kevin Baker, director of World of Patria International, said:  “We discovered Chase Distillery last year when the company launched its Chase Marmalade Vodka with World Duty Free at Terminal 5 and were immediately impressed at the unique look and quality of the product.

"World of Patria is all about delivering exceptional products to the travel retail sector; products which offer a point of difference compared to others out there; products which offer the travelling consumer an interesting and unique choice with lines that they are unlikely to have come across on the home market.”

William Chase, founder and owner of Chase Distillery, said: “In travel retail, apart from World Duty Free, our products are also served in the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Lounge.

“The exclusivity and uniqueness of our range is, we believe, perfect for travel retail and so we are delighted to be working with World of Patria International who has the expertise and client base to help us achieve our goals.”
