Rok Stars thrash out Oval's UK debut

12 December, 2011

US consumer goods company Rok Stars has stuck a deal with Castle Trade Services to launch its recently acquired Oval vodka in the UK.

Rok Stars is a newly formed company headed by Patron Spirits co-founder John Paul DeJoria and UK businessman Jonathan Kendrick which has a set out a strategy to “identify, develop and market highly innovative ‘game-changing’ consumer products, globally”.

The deal, which according to Rok Stars is “worth a minimum of €3.5m” across 3 years, follows Rok Stars’ announcement last month that it had bought-out the Austrian brand.

Kendrick said: “Castle Trade Services recognise that amongst a plethora of premium vodka brands, Oval is wholly unique in that during its patented distillation process we bond water molecules to the alcohol molecules naturally, thus reducing the de-hydrating effect of consuming alcohol.

“With Oval vodka you can ‘enjoy more, hurt less’ while enjoying the great taste of this beautifully packaged premium vodka.”
