Nemiroff extends vodka production to Belarus

01 November, 2010

Ukrainian brand Nemiroff has begun producing vodka in the Republic of Belarus.

In line with Belarusian market demands, ‘classical’ vodkas from the Nemiroff range have been chosen for production in Minsk.

The titles include: Nemirovskaya, Ukrainian Wheat Selected, Winter Wheat Ukrainian Selected, Rye Ukrainian Selected, and Nemiroff Citron.

Nemiroff, which describes Belarus as the world’s 6th largest consumer of “strong beverages” has partnered with local alcohol producer EUW Minsk Kirstall, part of the Belgospischeprom group.

According to Nemiroff, its own “specialists” will oversee production to ensure that the vodka is “identical” to that produced in Nemiroff, the brand’s home.

Nemiroff exports to 55 countries, around the world, while Belarus has received the brand since 2001.

The move follows the opening of a Nemiroff production facility in Yaroslavl, Russia, in 2008.
